If you are building a new Ryzen-based PC and are using a single graphics card a B350 motherboard could help you save some money to put towards that graphics card or other components. It definitely offers the most features and the motherboards in that range are pretty awesome, but one should not look over the B350 chipset. I haven't seen the Ryzen socket before, so I open up the motherboard manual, and as I'm looking for CPU insertion instructions I notice it's an intel motherboard.
I'm building the PC, put motherboard into the case and then as I'm about to put in the CPU notice that something is not right. I thought awesome, this finally came in stock, so I ordered it along side other PC components.
One day I put in "X370" in Amazon's search bar and this showed up in the search results: I was eyeing them for a while, and ASRock X370 Taichi looks good, but was out of stock, so I thought I'd wait. Back when I bought it, there was X370 motherboard shortage, so many boards out of stock. I bought a Z270 motherboard and AMD Ryzen 1800X CPU for my new workstation PC.
